Global manufacturer and supplier of conformal coating and precision dispensing systems, PVA (Precision Valve & Automation, Inc.) is pleased to announce the release of the ProFlow 1K Progressive Cavity Pump.

The ProFlow 1K is a progressive cavity pump designed to apply small volume lines or dots in applications requiring a high level of volumetric control.  Like the VPX-450, the ProFlow 1K uses a progressive cavity principle, employing a proprietary auger-like rotor that couples with a rubberized seal to displace fluid with continuous, pulse-free flow.  “The ProFlow 1K is available in three different flow rates, allowing our customers more flexibility for their application.  Regardless of the flow rate, the unique sealing mechanism provides drip-free operation, even with low viscosity fluids” says Frank Hart, Sales and Marketing Manager.

The ProFlow 1K is available with a flow rates ranging from 0.03 – 3.60 ml/min, 0.05 – 6.00 ml/min, and 0.15 – 18.00 ml/min, dependent on material.  Each pump has a high displacement precision of +/- 1%, a wide viscosity range of 1 – 100,000 cps and works well with filled or unfilled chemistries.  Common applications for the ProFlow 1K include thermal grease, epoxy encapsulants, underfill, dam & fill, gasketing, optical display bonding, and single component potting.
